Home made Cashew Milk

I really like alternatives to dairy and over recent years have consumed lots of milks from Coconut to Rice, Oat to Soya.
I'm also aware that there are many which i have yet to try like Hemp Seed, Almond, Brazil nut and Cashew nut milks.
The grocery stores where i live do not stock such products, so i attempted to have a go at making them myself with my Blendtec blender.

Here is the recipe for the cashew nut milk which I used

Blend 3 oz cashew nuts, 1/8 teaspoon salt, ¼ pt water, 1 tablespoon honey.

When well blended, add 1 ½ pts water and blend again.

This can be strained if a clear “milk” is preferred.

Stir well before using as small pieces of nut tends to settle to the bottom.

It will then store in the fridge for a few days, if not all used at once.

Hope you enjoy it, and if you have any changes to the recipe please do comment.

Have a great day
